Is FairStack actually cheaper than Midjourney / Runway / ElevenLabs? +
For most creators, yes — significantly. We charge what the labs charge, plus a few cents for the orchestration. If you generate fewer than ~75 images per month, FairStack is dramatically cheaper than any subscription. If you generate more, you still get model variety none of the subs offer.
Why don't you have a house model? +
Because the frontier moves every six weeks. The lab that's best at video today won't be best in a quarter. Building a house model would lock you into our timeline. Direct lab access keeps you on the actual frontier.
Do you train on my prompts or generations? +
No. We never train on user data. Your prompts, generations, characters, and projects belong to you. Full export is available at any time, and account deletion removes everything within 30 days.
Can I use FairStack output commercially? +
Yes — every generation. Commercial use is allowed on every plan, including Free. License terms vary slightly by underlying model, but FairStack secures commercial rights with every lab partner so you don't have to think about it.
What happens if I exceed my credit balance mid-generation? +
We never charge unexpectedly. If your balance won't cover a generation, we tell you upfront with the exact cost and offer to top up. Auto-reload is opt-in — never on by default.
Is the AI Director really included with Pro? +
Yes — unlimited Director plans on Pro. The cost is in the generations the Director runs (which you can preview before approving). Free tier gets one Director plan per day.
